Cancellation policy

A non-refundable £950 deposit is required upon booking.

You must arrange travel insurance to cover any cancellation costs.

The full payment is made up of the £950 deposit and the remaining balance.

A booking is confirmed on receipt of the deposit. The balance is due ten weeks before the retreat start date — Creative Retreat: Thursday 30 July, Writing Retreat: Thursday 6 August. Bland Badger reserves the right to cancel a booking if the balance is not received by the due date.

If you cancel after paying the balance and your cancellation is more than eight weeks before the retreat start date, we will refund your balance minus a £200 administration fee. The deposit remains non-refundable in all circumstances. If you cancel less than eight weeks before the retreat start date, no refund will be given.
